RE: DECEPTION OF THE HANNEMANN CAMPAIGN & KEN WONG – VOTE MUFI IN PRIMARY ELECTION AND DUKE IN THE GENERAL ELECTION
It has come to my attention that Christians are being courted by Ken Wong of the Mufi Hannemann Campaign for Governor into thinking that Christians should vote in September 18th’s Primary Election on the Democrat ballot for Mufi Hannemann to retard the chances of a Neil Abercrombie win rather than supporting Duke Aiona through both the primary and general elections. I have been anguishing over those who believe that there is PURITY OF INTENT behind this strategy since hearing about it 3-4 weeks ago from a close pastor friend. I have delved in the Word and consulted many of my Christian mentors and counselors. I cannot find righteousness in this approach and certainly it is coming from a campaign that has conducted itself unethically, immorally, and far below reproach as we have seen with its recent comparison mail piece.
Politics is a game of perception, BE NOT DECIEVED! Mufi appearing and speaking at your church is and will be used as an endorsement for Mufi in the primary election. “Wow Jonah, Mufi spoke at my church this weekend. My Pastor must be okay with supporting Mufi.” I heard this from friends from another church after Mufi’s appearance there two weekends ago. Ken and others are using these appearances at major churches to convince and build the case to have Mufi speak at your church and gain your support and the support of your congregation.
KEY TO THEIR DECEPTION - FEAR OF DUKE LOSING IN GENERAL ELECTION TO NEIL:
For the Body of Christ to think Duke Aiona will lose to either Neil Abercrombie or Mufi Hannemann in the general election is not a church operating in FAITH but operating in FEAR. This is a strategy that is preparing to fail rather than prevail. And only a faithful Church will elect Duke in the general election. Ken and the Hannemann campaign’s strategy is a trap of lies and baited deception and is being fueled by that very FEAR! DO NOT BE DECEIVED!!!
Ephesians 5:11 says, “…take no part in worthless deeds of evil and darkness, instead, rebuke and expose them.” When Ken Wong or Mufi approach or call you, you must probe, uncover their plans of conquest that have no righteous intent and rebuke them for trying to use your church as a platform for their deception and your personal influence to further unrighteousness.
Duke will win because the Church has been behind him the entire time operating in the POWER and the AUTHORITY of the NAME OF JESUS! We are the HEAD and not the tail; we are the VICTORS not the victims! If Duke Aiona does not win it will be the burden of the Body of Christ to bear so rather than preparing to have to deal with either Mufi or Neil winning the Church, we should be preparing for Duke to WIN. Neither Mufi Hannemann nor Neil Abercrombie is righteous and a vote for either in the primary or general election is succumbing to fear and advancing unrighteousness!
KINGDOM-MINDED RIGHTEOUSNESS; NOT PARTY-LINE:
Exception: If you and or your members live in Democrat Gary Okino’s House District 33 (Pearl City), vote on the Democrat Ballot and leave the other Democrat represented offices blank. Otherwise vote for Duke Aiona and your local principled, righteous candidates.
The question you need to ask yourself: Why are Ken and the Hannemann Campaign working so hard to try to CONVINCE you that Mufi is a man of principle and value? Wouldn’t you have known that already? Is Mufi a spirit-led man? Proof is in the fruit.
MUFI HANNEMANN’S FRUIT:
Galatians 5:22 tells usthe Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23gentleness, and self-control.
Has anyone seen that kind of fruit through Mufi Hannemann? Ask Ken why he endorses a man whose fruit shows no signs of righteousness or being controlled by the Holy Spirit. At many levels, Mufi is worse than Neil. Mufi’s fruits are highlighted below:
Galatians 5:19-21 tell us that, “When you follow the desires of your sinful nature, the results are very clear: sexual immorality, impurity, lustful pleasures, idolatry, sorcery, hostility, quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambition, dissension, division, envy, drunkenness, wild parties, and other sins like these. Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone living that sort of life WILL NOT inherit the Kingdom of God.”
Why would the Body of Christ as the representative of God’s Kingdom here on Earth promote and validate Mufi Hannemann by allowing him to speak from the pulpit platform of your church and join in his plan of deception???
RIGHTEOUS ENDORSEMENTS SHOULD BE FOR RIGHTEOUS LEADERS:
Exodus 18:21, But select from all the people some capable, honest men who fear God and hate bribes. Appoint them as leaders over groups of one thousand, one hundred, fifty, and ten.Unsurprising to many of you, I deal daily with local businessmen who are scared to give the Republican Party donations because of fear of retribution from the Democrats and their friends. These men and women fear that their businesses will be destroyed by crooked politicians withholding contracts and permits. Mayor Mufi Hannemann’s name and the names of his political cronies often come up when these guys are probed. In addition, two of largest public labor unions, HGEA and UPW, have endorsed and are financially supporting Mufi. In the flesh, people look at that as normal political practice but through spiritual eyes, these unions’ financial support are considered to be bribes and an endorsement as an unholy OATH that Mufi and other politicians take to retain their elected positions of power. (The HGEA endorsement required that candidate raise General Excise Tax). Mufi has never hesitated in taking these bribes and making these unholy oaths with unrighteous organizations like the HGEA and UPW to secure his political conquests. Who is Mufi really serving? The people? Himself? Or the unions?
Luke 6:13, “No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon (evil spirit of earthly possession, power and control).”
Mufi, through Ken Wong’s efforts in the churches, is conveniently being a “man of faith” but my hope from this letter is for the blinders to be lifted and the scales to fall from the eyes of the Body of Christ.
As a former men’s pastor and worship leader for 8 years, I am positioned here in the midst of politics to share the truth and expose the conspirators of a very corrupt system no matter what the cost. Too often, we as the Body of Christ are reacting to crisis like HB444 . We need to fearlessly, like David did Goliath, run towards the unrighteous enemy. Duke Aiona’s Campaign for Governor is the Body of Christ’s opportunity to operate in the AUTHORITY and to be proactive. The Primary Election is the first step to bringing back a righteous leader to the highest office in this State which has not been seen since Queen Lili’uokalani. Over 100 years ago! With more than 400,000 Christians in the State of Hawaii, WE are responsible no matter what the outcome of Duke’s race because we have been given the POWER and the AUTHORITY in the NAME OF JESUS!!!!
